I am a certified trainer for Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP) and I am on the International Board for FAP Certification, Ethics, and Policies.
I offer training and consultation for FAP and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am not authorized to supervise clinical hours for licensure.
I lead a monthly peer-consultation group for behavioral therapists that is focused on Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), therapies collectively known as Clinical Behavior Analysis (CBA, see Dougher, 2000). Space is limited, contact me if you are interested.
I earned my bachelor’s degree at the University of Nevada, Reno and my main mentors were Steve Hayes (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, ACT) and William Follette (Functional Analytic Psychotherapy, FAP). My doctoral degree was completed at the University of Washington in Seattle under the tutelage of Dr. Robert “Bob” Kohlenberg and Dr. Mavis Tsai, the founders of Functional Analytic Psychotherapy and the Global ACL Project.
